So last night when I called Aruma aka footprint to wish her a happy birthday, I found she wasn't doing anything special. Horrified, I invited Aki to come along since she would be in Riverdale today to drop off the Twip and hang out with Aru and her friend Koori. These are our tales.
-I got to her house at around noon and had a brief breakfast with her and Koori during which we giggled about my boobs, her boobs, and Aki's boobs. Then Aki finally showed up after Lance's pants got out of the dryer with the Twip and we goofed around for a little bit, which included him spinning me AND Koori around in circles against our will. -We had a little time to burn so we stopped by Dave's Comic Shop where we got funny looks for being a bunch of chicks in a comic shop. -We then drove in my car to Tinseltown to see Transformers 2 (which ironically was my second time seeing it). Again, it rocked my socks off. -Then we stopped and had dinner at Kiku's Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar. I had a shit ton of tempura seafood and it was geeeewd. We stayed there for quite a while giggling like idiots and making inappropriate comments about pretty much everything. -Then we went to my cousin Mikey's house just for the hell of it and lazed about until our stomachs settled all the food we ate. It was lovely. I love my cousin so much, he is ridiculously hospitable and he luffles me way too much. -THEN we went to Wal-Mart to grab Aru an expansion pack for World of Warcraft (Yes, she started playing it. Oy._ -AND THEN we went to H-Mart and Aki bought some goodies to enjoy on her way home. \ -Finally, we went back to Aru's, watched Jeff Dunham outtakes, and went separate ways.
In conclusion, it was the best effing Saturday ever. Happy belated birthday, Aru-chan!

Thanks for all the love and concern, guys. It's honestly helped me get over this moving shit. Now: a list!
-Saw Up. It was fantastic, just like I thought it would be. The little kid, Russell, wasn't too annoying, the storyline with Carl was touching and beautifully executed, and the creative little short film before the movie was fantastic. Also, I loved Doug the Dog. He was a mix of Aki's dog Rocky and Caboose from Red VS. Blue. XD -Aki came over yesterday and we hung out. I showed her Will Smith's 2005 rom-com Hitch and she showed me Charlie Bartlett, which stars the little adorable little dude who plays Chekov in the new Star Trek movie. I liked it. Robert Downey Jr. + alcohol + gun + lost his job = Kyoko and Akimi hiding underneath the covers from the laptop screen. Anyway, after that we went and saw Up (which was my second time seeing it--I went by myself to see it the other day) and came back home and goofed until we fell asleep. She left a few hours ago today (after being a doll and scanning some things for me). -Tosh.0 premieres today and I'm a little excited but a little cautious too. I love, love, love Daniel Tosh but I wanna know how they handle this show. Another brilliant comedian, Patrice O'Neal, used to have the same kind of show on VH1 'til they switched him out with the fat guy from Cartoon Network (Chris something) and it became lame like everything else on that channel that isn't I Love the ____. Here's hopin'. -Surfed around ff.net and actually found a couple of cool Mal/Inara fics from Firefly. I demand a sequel, dammit! FIX THAT SHIT YOU MESSED UP IN SERENITY OR I WILL CUT YOU, WHEDON. -Sweet Jesusjacques, I'm hungry. I'm gonna wander off and eat something soon. -Saw the full trailer for the upcoming Disney film The Princess and the Frog and I flailed all through it. I WANT. I WANT IT NOW. It's gonna be so freakin' schway coooooool! TT-TT -The teaser trailer for Toy Story 3 is out, in case one of you want to look: http://www.apple.com/trailers/disney/toystory3/ It actually made me feel a little better. I think it's unnecessary because no one can top the second one but I think the same writers are present so it should be fine.
In any case, I'm off to nom on things. Later, babies. <3 |

Just came back from "Terminator Salvation". Screw my brother AND Thomas (although the latter, I would actually like to do despite common sense): I enjoyed it very much! It was ridiculously intense, action-packed, and it didn't have TOO many stupid plot devices though there were a few. It's hard to do an in depth review since there's a lot of kick ass action to absorb so if I see it again, I shall give more of my thoughts. As it stands, I give it a thumbs up.
Still have a bit of money left so if I'm lucky, I'll get to see Up when it comes out. Fuckin' theater in Mableton is $9.00 matinee. Yes, you read that right. Am I the only person who thinks this is bullshit? Yes, the theater is extremely nice but I hate that I have to pay that much since I never come across money that often. Ugh.
Also, Marg is on Twitter now so go add her. She's "secretlybatman", which made me giggle. Good times.
In the meantime, I am moody and depressed for the simple fact that my parents went out to dinner without me so I'm stuck here with my irritating brother and I feel incredibly alone. I think that's why I miss Aki the most. At least I had someone with me who wasn't a complete pain in the ass. Now I just feel like an alienated loser since I'm twenty and still miserably single. It's drained all the energy out of me for today. *sigh*
I'm going to listen to "Golden Brown" by The Stranglers a few more hundred times to make myself feel better. Ja ne.

| Zompires aren't real, right? ((O_O)) |
[May. 24th, 2009|09:29 am] |
Right. So. I bet you're wondering why the flying duckie I'm awake at 8:00AM.
Did not, repeat, did NOT sleep well. It took me hours to fall asleep and after I did, not only did I have weird dreams but I had an "I Am Legend" zompires nightmare. In the first part, we were trapped in a car by the evil mutated dogs and in the second part, we were driving through a forest at night. This time, I think we encountered a different, more intelligent kind that demanded a tribute in order for you to pass through them at night. The man in the car with us passed them something and then I heard this voice say: "You didn't pay me what you owe." Then I got this horrid chill down my spine and thought "I don't wanna be here for this." and woke myself up. Sadly enough, I am too scared to go back to sleep so I just got out of bed.
-Watched "Waitress" and Christopher Titus' comedy special "Love is evol" last night with my mom and she enjoyed both of them. I am immensely glad because that almost never happens. Her "tastes" are rather rigid compared to mine. -Have been training myself out of saying the F-bomb since I'm at home by turning it into "what the flying duckie". It sounds silly, but I can't curse in front of my parents and this seems to be working so far. -Still no job yet, but mostly because I haven't been putting real effort into it because I just want a little more time to relax before I enter the workforce. I promise I'll get on it this week, though. -Feel a little worried about Terminator: Salvation since Bryan and Thomas (shut up) didn't like it. I'm gonna try and see it today if I can. -Got my oil changed finally but one of my tires went flat. We have a spare, but that's pretty lame it happened the day after we take the car in to get the tires checked. Sabotage Y/Y? -Still have that unsettling feeling that zompires are watching me. Ugh. My imagination sucks. >.>;;
Nothing else to talk about atm. Love you guys.

Okay, I officially have too many accounts when I noticed I hadn't said a thing about my grades on LJ. Sorry, I joined Twitter so I've been posting stuff there and on Facebook. I was really skeptical about Twitter at first, but it's actually really fun because a lot of the people I follow are hilarious, like Nathan Fillion, Daniel Tosh, and Jon Favereau.
Anyway, I ended up with an A- in English, a B- in Speech Comm, a C+ in Journalism, and an A in Univ 1103. Badminton is Pass or Fail so of course I passed but it has no reflection on my GPA. My GPA is up to 2.56, which is still pretty awful but at least I qualify for scholarships and shit. Yay for me.
Terminator: Salvation comes out on Thursday and I'm gonna try and see it. Not sure when or how, but I will.
Tomorrow, I'm actually being social: a bunch of the AP kids from my high school want to meet up at Centennial Olympic Park for something called "Wednesday Wind Down" and then go to dinner downtown. Shocking, isn't it? I usually never meet up with friends like this but I decided to get out of my sandbox and play nice with the other kids. I hope it goes well. Getting there is already stressing me out as it is.
I'm being a girl and driving to Aki's this weekend to help her giveaway her Grandma's new kittens at Walmart. I guess I'll drive up on Saturday? Google Maps says I'm an hour and fifteen minutes away from Greenville so we'll see.
I watched this movie called "Waitress" from 2007 with Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion (whom Aki converted me into loving) and I highly recommend it. It was one of those awesome, quirky movies that was just delightful and creative, almost like Lucky Number Slevin. Also, Nathan Fillion was so adorkable you could just eat him up. I've been cooing over his character for the past two days. I can't bloody help myself.
Okay, I'll stop blabbing now. How's everyone else doing? :D |

[Apr. 26th, 2009|02:24 pm] |
Right. So my laptop went boom and I had to give it back to my Dad to get the new virus off of it. Don't ask, I dunno how it got there either. I don't know when it will be fixed so I'll update when I can but for the most part, I won't be Gmailing that much and it saddens me.
The funnier part is that I've been offline for a day and a half and I came to my Inbox to find I had 73 emails. xDD Mind you, I just made a post on capslock_bleach and they were all comments but my jaw seriously dropped.
Anyway, I am sorry you will be Kyo-less for a while. It would have happened anyway because finals are next week but just wanted to let you know I still love you all. Hugsies.
Oh and I had an emotional breakdown on Friday but that's barely worth mentioning now. >.>;;;
Later days.

[Apr. 16th, 2009|10:45 am] |
Still having a shitty week but I just had to report that I just remembered my dreams from last night and slapped myself in the forehead. In one of them, I got to hang out with Lanipator doing voice overs for a new Abridged series (can't remember which one but it might have been Batman Beyond knowing my crazy brain) and in another, I was hanging out with the cast from Scrubs and Carla made a joke about me and Dr. Cox. *blush* Apparently, we all knew each other beforehand so it went something like this:
Carla: Why don't you and your girlfriend-- Me: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Carla, he's a married man! Carla: *unconvinced* Uh-huh. Me: *shifty eyes, shoves doughnut in mouth to keep from talking any more*
The last one was actually a nightmare, but not one about spiders or velociraptors (Stop laughing, it's not funny. I am a traumatized woman). It was actually about tornadoes.
Now, I don't know if any of you have ever seen a tornado firsthand but I did in this dream and it was the most terrifying experience I've ever had while asleep. I had gotten in my car to drive to the grocery store and when I came down the road, it was probably only about a mile up the road. I panicked, dove out of the car, and ran into a hotel to the basement floor where other people have gathered. My parents (who maybe had been in a car behind me or something) met me inside and we all scrambled around trying to find a place with no windows or glass while the wind was tearing at the building and I could hear the tornado approaching from nearby.
Again, I've never consciously thought about it but I am deathly afraid of tornadoes. Like when I was home and we had that really severe thunderstorm with the tornado watch and I was curled up on the couch, trying to get myself to breathe. I was having a mild panic attack. I guess it scares me the most because I have no control over a situation like that. A tornado could blow through, destroy our house, and kill my entire family with no prejudice. Mother Nature does not play favorites nor does she give a shit if you're too young to die. That scares the hell out of me.
Sorry, this post was a bit of a downer. I'm just ready for this weekend, honestly. It's been a really long week. e_____e;;

Back from Fayetteville. Had great dinner with family. Exceedingly tired/sleepy. Bummed that I didn't get any studying done at home, but not surprised. Trying to study now but too sleepy. Need to take shower. Not sure if that's gonna happen.
Got battery charger from Dad. Very happy about that, or would be if I weren't so sleepy. Only need one more dollar and I can buy a ticket to RenFest this coming weekend.
Should shower since gonna see Thomas tomorrow. Probably won't. Perfume = shower, right?
...ah, shit. >( |

| Warning: Crack Post. |
[Apr. 10th, 2009|11:25 am] |
So last night at around 2:00AM, Aki and I were goofing off while she read horrible fanfiction summaries to me when I discovered that you can make everything funnier by adding a bit of dialogue from Iron Man. Do y'all remember the part where Obadiah tried to have his scientists replicate the thing inside Tony Starks' chest? If you don't here you go:
Yes. That quote.
Take it and add it to every movie quote you can think of and the quote instantly becomes hilarious. Here are some examples.
( Do not throw things at me for some of these. )
In other less-cracky news, I'm going home this weekend for Easter/Resurrection Sunday (that's what we call it at my church) at 4:30-ish and hopefully Dad can get the new battery charger there before I have to go back to Athens. In the mean time, I've got an English test to study for with index cards. In a cave. WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!
Sorry. XD *leaves before you can hurt her*

[Apr. 8th, 2009|12:23 pm] |
Good News: last night, Akimi convinced me to go to a birthday party for Brent, a member of the anime club, at Ru San's Sushi Bar and it was very fun. We chatted with other nerds (though mostly Kainan) and I had this fantastic tempura. I had scallops, shitake mushrooms (which taste quite weird), salmon, and mussels that were all fried and served with tempura sauce. They were also all $1.50 each and came two per serving. I was still hungry afterwards, but it was delicious.
Bad News: My battery charger finally died on me. And my Dad hasn't ordered a new one. So I'm fucked. However, UGA finally came through for me: the SLC (Student Learning Center, in case you're wondering) rents out laptops to students and it turns out that they use Dell laptops. So I rented one and used the battery charger to recharge my laptop so I can get my school documents off here and use them to study with. Still sucks that I can't have internet at home but whatever. At least I know in an emergency, I can get the laptop turned back on. Though the guy at the desk was amused/confused by my strange request for the cord. And before you ask, no I can't just take the cord home. They rent the laptop out for three hours at a time so you can't just go home and use it for the rest of the semester or something. And thank God it's free.
Strange-to-Place News: As I suspected, Thomas does indeed have a girlfriend. I was kind of enjoying not being 100% sure because then I could fool myself into thinking he was interested. This didn't bum me out as much as I thought it would, though. We're still having a great time working on our project together and I luffle his guts out because he's so cool and funny and good-looking but at least some of the tension is gone now that I know we won't hook up. Kind of a bittersweet thing, but I'm just going to enjoy it as much as I can. The only problem is now I kind of want to take a picture of him to show you guys. He's adorable, and a different kind of adorable because he doesn't TRY to look good. He just looks like a normal, honest, hard-working dude. As Aki can attest to, I hate how awesome he is sometimes because it's like he has a giant Kyoko computer and just sits there and flips all my "like" switches. He is coming perilously close to the first guy I've ever liked everything about him. Must...start...picking out flaws...@_@;
So my updates will be a bit less frequent until my Dad buys the new one and mails it to me. I don't have anything else to say for now so laterz. |

IT'S SNOWING IT'S SNOWING LALALALALALAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! :DDDDDDD
As soon as Batman B&B is over, I'm going back outside to take more pictures and then I'll post them.
...my only gripe is that why couldn't this happen tomorrow so I don't have to go to school and take my exam? Lame. Ah, well. It hasn't snowed this hard since the Blizzard of '93 so I'm going to enjoy it as much as I can before heading back inside to do my homework.
...also, Scarlet Scarab aka Evil!Blue Beetle is the most terrifying thing I have ever seen. Just so you know. If you watch the episode "Deep Cover for Batman", you might get the bad shivers like I do. Eek. Will Friedle why you do dat????
EDIT: I CAN HAS SNOW PICCHURS NAO?

Last night...was AWESOME! =3
ItsJustSomeRandomGuy, the man responsible for the creation of the "Hi, I'm a Marvel and I'm a DC" videos on Youtube, along with his co-producer and girlfriend RandomGal had a live chat on BlogTV last night where they answered all the fans questions and generally told us about themselves. The only problem was that the sound kept going in and out, but even then I still had a blast. Since I joined BlogTV yesterday, I got to ask a whole bunch of questions and got them answered. RandomGuy and Gal were really sweet and pleasant and they stayed online well into the night since they live in LA so it wasn't really that late to them. It was so hard to tear myself away but I eventually went to bed at like 2:00AM or something. xD
They plan on doing this on a more regular basis so if you aren't already subscribed to them, you totally need to do it. I had oodles of fun.
In other news, Aki's going home today. I'm gonna be bored and unmotivated. xD Ah, well. At least that means I get to eat all the rest of the chicken still in the fridge. ("CHICKEN AND WATERMELON!!!")
All my classes are pretty much the same. I have two midterms next week that I have to prepare for but nothing more than that. Still not sure if I'm going to Momocon or if I'm going to Florida on Spring Break. When I know, you'll know.
The Oscars were glorious, almost entirely because of Hugh Jackman. You should have heard all the hubbub by now but if not, his opening number was damned hilarious. I must spam your flist with it. I nearly laughed myself unconscious. He is so damned charming.
Other than that, I think everything else is the same. I have some family drama that needs resolving but I'm not ready to talk about it just yet so just remember to send calming, unselfish thoughts my way and I'll be fine. Adios.

[Feb. 22nd, 2009|07:49 pm] |
Wow, I didn't realize I haven't updated since V-Day. Here are some of the wooooonderful things as of late:
-Me and Aki are both flat broke. To the point where we are scrounging around for food. Srsly, all we have is like three pieces of chicken, yogurt, noodles, and cheese potatoes. Between us, we have less than $100 dollars on which to somehow find food for the next three days. Then she's going to Greenville and I'm on my own. With $37 dollars in my account. Whoopdee frickin' doo. -Took my first SPCM test last week. I think I did so-so on it. -I've been watching AskThatGuy from ThatGuywithTheGlasses.com and it is disturbingly hilarious. xD -Spectacular Spider-man has eaten my brain. Srsly, ppl, go Youtube that show. It is hilarious, well-animated, and a great revamp for the series. Anyone who thinks the 1994 version is better has their head up their ass. You can quote me on that. -My Mexican/Spanish/Who Gives a Fuck neighbors downstairs have not relented their loud ass music for nearly the entire week. I am fed up. Come Monday, I am calling the front office and finding out what is the highest form of complaint I can file against them. Right now as I'm typing this, I can hear and FEEL the fucking music through the floor. I am sick of doing the Tapdance of Rage for them to turn it up the same amount of loudness the next day. -...the movie Twister has the dumbest, most failerific climax ever. xDD - TEAMFOURSTAR NEEDS TO UPDATE, DAMMIT. -My Way Entertainment acquired a webcam and did a live show this week. It was freaking hilarious. They answered several of my questions and I squee'd muchly. -I've given up on Ricardo. He is an assburger, through and through. No more wasting energy on thinking about him. What's done is done. >:/
Mmkay, the Red Carpet has started so I'm going to watch and squee over Yummy McYummerson Hugh Jackman. Later.
